Obituary of Mary Jo Mazure

MAZURE, Mary Jo of Glen Cove, New York on August 16, 2025 at 74 years. Beloved wife of Leslie. Loving mother of Brian (Wendy) and Melissa. Dear sister of Anna Rae Tumbarello (Joseph) and Lois Fink (Anne-Marie Blondin). Proud grandmother of Alexa and Logan. Also survived by four nephews. Fond sister-in-law of Fran Mazure. Mary Jo is a former member of Glen Cove's Women's Club, the Glen Cove Retired Teachers Association and the Red Hats Society. She was a founder and president of the Glen Cove Special Education Parent Teacher Association (S.E.P.T.A.). Mary Jo worked at Connolly School in Glen Cove for 20 years.

Visitation is at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home, Glen Cove on Wednesday August the 20th 2025 from 6-9pm; Thursday August the 21st from 2-4 pm and also 6-8pm. Mass on Friday August 22nd at St. Patrick's Church at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Locust Valley Cemetery.
