CANAVAN, Mary Jane of Glen Cove, NY and formerly of Sea Cliff, NY on May 14th, 2025 at age 88.  Beloved wife of Thomas. Loving mother of Thomas, Jeanne (Matt Hanes), Stephen (Leigh), Teresa (John Sullivan) and the late Robert. Dear sister of Robert Strahley (Ann) and the late Charles Strahley Jr. (Maureen). Proud grandmother of 10. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews. Mary Jane was a lifelong Chorister, recently of North Shore Community Chorus and the St. Boniface Choir. She was also a Eucharistic Minister as well as a member of the Consolation Group at St. Boniface. Mary Jane was very active in community affairs in Sea Cliff. Visiting at Dodge-Thomas Funeral Home of Glen Cove on Sunday from 5-8pm. Mass at St. Boniface Martyr Church of Sea Cliff on Monday at 10am. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
