Lou and I met around 20 years ago ; it was a Sunday with a Jr/Sr competition slated for the day. I had just joined the club, hardly knew a soul. We were on the steps leaving John’s office , neither had a partner so luckily we were the right ages to partner up. We did and have been playing together ever since.
Lou is one of the best men I have met. He had the nicest smile, wonderful laugh and did very often.
We had a Sunday routine; we would plan our arrival time so we both could go the range and practice for approximately 30 minutes.
He had such a great command of the rules and was the guy to answer any of our questions.
Not exaggerating, I loved Lou like a brother. As I write and think of Lou during the day ; I am emotional.
I know we are all going to miss GB Lou tremendously. Hard to imagine, the world without him.
Peggy and family are in my heart and thoughts.
