I did not know you personally but I’m almost certain our families knew each other. My family was from 34 Wolfe street. My grandfather Angelo Gabriel Stanco and grandmother Rose (née Pascucci) lived there and raised 7 children. My father Angelo M. Stanco was a Nassau county police officer. He passed away in 2014 down in Florida. God bless you and your family.

I've known John since we played lacrosse at C.W.Post. We remained friends and met a few times in Baltimore to watch the Lacrosse College Championships. We spoke a few times each year and I tried extremely hard to locate him for the past 6 months. A friend finally emailed me today his obituary. I knew about his medical condition and had that feeling John had passed on. It still saddens me but although John has moved on, he is still in my heart forever........ Robert Sadigur

Went to GCHS and graduated with John. He was great guy, who was friendly and always had a smile. May he Rest in Peach and Perpetual Light shine on him. My deepest condolences to the Stanco family.
