Ian and Matt and family and friends of Steve,
I am so very sorry for this loss!! What a shock!! I am a 1993 CFHS classmate of Steve’s. Steve was an amazing man. The love you two had for each other, Ian, was amazing and such true, true love! Thank you for being so special to him and being the love of his life! I am so sorry you are all going through this. What a very tough year it has been!! Hugs to all of you!

I never met Steve, but watched daily through Ian's beautiful posts on Facebook. We were all of part of this love, because we got to watch it, and be joyed by it, daily. Our collective hearts are broken, because to witness something so loving, and then to imagine Ian's pain, is almost unbearable. Ian and Steve were a gift to each other, and their love, a gift to us all. Condolences to all their friends and family, and mostly to Ian.
Ian, Matt, family and friends, My very deepest condolences. I was blessed to have spent a lovely lunch date with Steve and Ian in September. I will cherish that wonderful warm and genuine hug Steve gave me, forever. May you be bless with strength to keep moving forward. You know that is what Steve wants. We are all broken from this loss
